Note – The contents of one can of foam are sufficient for approximately one month, using half a cap twice daily. Actual usage depends on the area to be treated.
Active substance:
Minoxidil 50 mg/g (5%) is a propylene glycol-free foam formula that is applied directly to the scalp and stimulates hair growth in hereditary baldness.
Minoxidil 5% foam is indicated for the treatment of 'normal' male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia). Use minoxodil only on the scalp.

What is minoxidil foam and what is it used for?
Minoxidil Linn 50 mg/g foam contains the active substance minoxidil, an agent that can inhibit hair loss in men and stimulate new hair growth.
- Suitable for hereditary hair loss (androgenetic alopecia).
- Works by activating hair follicles.
- Specially for men aged 18 and over.
- Use only on the scalp.
When should you not use minoxidil or should you be extra careful?
Do not use this medicine if you:
- are allergic to any of the ingredients,
- has another type of hair loss (e.g., patchy),
- don't know what causes your hair loss,
- has an inflamed or irritated scalp.
Use extra caution and consult your doctor if you have heart disease or are taking other medications.
How do you use minoxidil foam?
- Apply 1 gram (½ cap) to the bald spots twice a day (morning and evening).
- Massage gently into a dry scalp.
- Wash your hands afterward.
- Results are often visible after 2 to 4 months.
If there is no effect after 4 months, stop and consult your doctor.
Possible side effects
Like any medication, minoxidil can cause side effects. Not everyone experiences them.
Stop and consult a doctor immediately if:
- swollen hands, feet or face,
- difficulty breathing or swallowing,
- chest pain or palpitations.
Other possible side effects:
- scalp irritation or itching,
- headache or dizziness,
- temporary increase in hair loss in the first few weeks.
Use with other products
- Use a mild shampoo during the treatment.
- Wait with styling products until the foam has fully absorbed.
- When coloring or perming your hair: rinse out the foam first and inform your hairdresser.
- Do not combine with other scalp medications.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
This product is not suitable for women . Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
